Learn the basics of handbuilding with clay slabs by creating a tree inspired by the holidays. Various tools and stamps will be provided to create texture. Underglazes will be used to apply color and designs in the classroom. Your pottery will be bisque fired, a clear glaze applied and fired again by the instructor in an electric kiln. The process can take 3-4 weeks. You will be notified when your pottery is ready for pickup. Working with clay is messy. Please wear clothes appropriate for this and I highly recommend an apron, hand towel, and shorter fingernails.
