My Inspiration

Nature calms my spirit and inspires me.

My painting springs from this beautiful relationship I have with the natural world.

I work with acrylic and watercolor paints to create artistic representations of the landscapes, wildlife and interesting rustic architectures.

My paintings bring forth the beauty I find in the world around me - especially here at home, in North Central Florida.

I love the way acrylic allows details of light and shadow to replicate reality.
Acrylic is my media of choice to "paint what I see".

When I feel compeled to express a subject with a more misty dreamlike quality, then I lean towards using watercolors, because of the soft pallette and the gentle saturation this fragile paint can tive a piece.
